https://vco-bucket.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/20210627004504/Sunriver-Nature-Center-Oregon.png570365The Sunriver Nature Center and Oregon Observatory features a large scale public observatory providing hands on experience with stargazing in addition to interpretive exhibits, live birds-of-prey, amphibians and snakes, meteorite exhibit, educational programs, botanical garden, a nature trail and Astronomy Store featuring a complete line of telescopes. Open Tues-Sat, 10am - 4pm from September through May with special Winter Observatory hours and events seasonally. Private Star Parties available. The Sunriver Nature Center staff of naturalists will keep the kids curiously engaged with informative walks, indoor exhibits including reptiles, amphibians and other live animals. Be sure to have this on the 'must do' list for your next visit.
